New Dartmouth hoist open!

People with mobility issues can now use a new hoist which has been installed at Dartmouth in a joint project between DSG and the Dart Harbour Authority. The official inauguration took place on 5th April and member Steve Oakey, a former Assistant Harbour Master, was the first to use the new equipment. Our sailors were out in force to see the new equipment having come down river from our sailing base. This project will really help people enjoy everything the beautiful River Dart has to offer, especially as summer is just around the corner. Many thanks to everybody who made this happen. The hoist is just near the town's Boat Float so go and have a look!
