VOLUNTEERING

Dart Sailability always gives a warm welcome to enthusiastic volunteers. No sailing or power boat experience is required just the ability to assist the sailing members and have fun!

We are a RYA training centre and volunteers who want to learn to drive a power boat, sail a dinghy or larger sailing boat will be given training and support.

There is no set commitment, but volunteers are encouraged to attend on a fairly regular basis in order to keep up with events and to maintain their skill levels.

There are many other supporting roles ashore for volunteers, particularly when we are maintaining our boats during the winter.

You are welcome to come and see us at Galmpton to see how you might like it, just check the Saling Programme link above to see when we are around and about.

Should you decide to join there is a nominal £1.00 annual fee for all members which covers insurance. All courses, certificates and associated books are provided free of charge.

You will be asked to complete a registration form (please see link below). To ensure the safety of our sailors a free DBS (Disclosure and Barring) check is carried out on all volunteers.
